Make iPhone photos work everywhere
By default, newer iPhones save photos as HEIC - a space-saving format that many websites, government portals, job applications and older programs simply will not accept. This tool converts HEIC and HEIF (and WebP) images into universally supported JPG files.
Because the conversion runs in your browser, your photos - including IDs and documents - never get uploaded. Convert one photo or a whole batch; multiple files come back as a ZIP.
How to use it
- Drop your .heic / .heif photos (or .webp images).
- Wait a moment the first time while the HEIC decoder loads.
- Click Convert to JPG and download your standard JPG files.
Frequently asked questions
Why will my iPhone HEIC photo not upload anywhere?
HEIC is an Apple-favoured format that many websites and apps do not support. Converting to JPG fixes unsupported-file-type errors on visa portals, job sites and forms.
Will the photo quality drop?
Conversion is at high quality (92%), so the JPG looks essentially identical. JPG files can be a bit larger than HEIC because HEIC is more efficient.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. HEIC decoding and JPG encoding both happen in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
