Why does it say the text was not found?

The tool searches the PDF's text layer. Scanned documents are just pictures of text, so there is nothing to search - run them through OCR PDF first, then highlight.

Is the search case-sensitive?

No. Searching for "invoice" also highlights "Invoice" and "INVOICE".

Can I highlight several different words?

Yes - highlight one term, download, then drop the result back in and highlight the next term. Each pass adds to the previous highlights.

Is my document uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is processed entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.
