Remove a Logo Without Leaving a Patch

Invoices, quotes and reports exported from accounting tools often carry a vendor line such as “Powered by…” in a corner. Covering it with a white box works on a pure white page, but on a shaded or off-white page the box shows. Smart Erase looks at the colours around the area you mark and rebuilds the inside from them, so the gap blends in.

It reconstructs plain and gently shaded backgrounds convincingly. If the page behind the mark is a detailed photo, the result is a smooth patch rather than a perfect rebuild, because the original pixels are not recoverable. When the page is a flat colour you can also choose white or any colour you like.

Good to Know

Each page is flattened to an image with the fill burned in, so what you erased is genuinely gone from the file. The remaining text on the page stays selectable and searchable through an invisible text layer. Everything runs in your browser; the document is never uploaded. You can also use Smart Erase inside the PDF Workspace together with signing, watermarking and the other tools.

Smart Erase — Frequently Asked Questions

How does Smart Erase fill the gap?

It samples the colours just outside the area you marked and rebuilds the inside from them, so a logo or stamp on a plain or softly shaded page disappears without a visible patch. You can also fill with white or a colour you pick.

Will it work on a photo or a busy background?

It smooths the gap from the surrounding colours, so a busy photographic background will look softened rather than perfectly rebuilt. For those pages, pick a fill colour or mark a smaller area.

Is the erased content really gone?

Yes. Each page is flattened to an image with the fill burned in, so the logo or text under it no longer exists in the downloaded file. The rest of the page's text stays selectable through an invisible text layer; only the erased words are removed.

Does the document leave my device?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
